The biggest event for finance professionals in the Balkans celebrated a major milestone. The 10th CFO & Controlling Congress was held on May 26, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belgrade. Proudly sponsored by GoPro, the congress brought together over 500 CFOs, controllers, and financial leaders from across the region, making it an essential hub for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and ideas that shape the future of finance.
Throughout the event, participants attended numerous panels and lectures featuring CFOs, CEOs, Heads of Finance, and experts from the most successful companies operating in Serbia and the region.
Petar Miljković (CEO, GoPro) delivered a presentation titled “GoPro BC Insight – A Modern Solution for Modern Companies.” During his talk, he highlighted the key challenges companies face in financial reporting when lacking BI tool support and explained how the BC Insight solution can help them overcome those obstacles.
BC Insight offers a comprehensive set of management reports, ranging from cash flow overviews and profit and loss statements to detailed receivables analysis. One of its major advantages is the integrated artificial intelligence (AI), which helps detect anomalies and predict business trends—minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities. Additionally, BC Insight allows users to simply ask a question, and the solution automatically generates the requested report—saving time and eliminating the need for complex analysis.

Following the presentation, the discussion on financial digitalization continued with a panel dedicated to digital transformation. Milica Gašić (Key Account Manager, GoPro) also took part, speaking about the role of ERP and BI solutions in modern financial management and their importance in a company’s digital transformation.
She emphasized the growing presence of cloud solutions, highlighting their benefits in terms of accessibility, data security, and scalability. She explained how critical it is for ERP and BI systems to function as an integrated whole—like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the BC Insight solution—as this synergy enables fast, accurate decision-making based on reliable information.
She also stressed the importance of user education for successful digital transformation, adding that GoPro provides full support to its clients through training on how to use BC Insight, helping them fully unlock the potential of the tools they’re working with.
